Mission Statement
The Society provides for search and rescue of lost, stranded or injured persons in the local mountains and canyons, and to assist civil agencies during other emergencies and disasters.
About This Cause
Program activities included morebthan 160nsearch and rescue operations. These operations included more than 160 search and rescue operations. These operations involved more than 9100 man hours of direct volunteer time plus extensive ongoing training programs for member volunteers and public education presentations on wilderness safety awareness.
