Mission Statement
The Oakridge Senior Centre prides itself on offering a warm and inviting location for seniors to socialize and stay active while participating in day trips, attending different physically fitness classes and education classes. We also house a number of themed special events, clubs and special interest information sessions.
About This Cause
The Oakridge Seniors' Centre (OSC) is a resource for seniors to promote individual respect, physical and mental well-being, and friendships. The Oakridge Seniors' Centre is a drop-in centre for seniors 55 years and older. It is a nonprofit organization operated by the Oakridge Seniors' Society and is separate and independent from the Vancouver Parks Board and all other community centers in Vancouver. The OSC's vision is to be a Seniors' Centre of excellence while providing our members with quality and positive leadership, diverse programs and activities dedicated to our members' well-being. The OSC works to enhance the quality of life of seniors by providing a fun and welcoming environment through friendly association and recreation with the spirit of fellowship.
