About This Cause
Our Rotary Club of Calgary downtown has been serving the community for the last 106 years. Rotarians believe in service above self. Being a volunteer organization our administrative costs are kept at a minimum. This assures that your donated funds will have maximum impact. Our club funds and participates in many many programs. Some of the local projects include: • Kids reading programs • Stay in school programs • Adult literacy programs • Homeless shelters • Feed the hungry • Women in distress • New immigrants support • mental health support • Christmas hampers The backbone of our organization is the 4 way test we use in all of our club activities : 1- Is it the truth 2- Is it fair to all concerned 3- Will it build goodwill 4- Will it be beneficial to all concerned
