Imagine Canada is a national, bilingual, charitable organization whose cause is Canada's charities and nonprofits. Our mission is to strengthen and support Canadian charities and nonprofits so they may better serve and engage individuals and communities here and around the world.
About This Cause
Our cause is social good in Canada. Our vision is of a stronger Canada where charities work together alongside business and government to build vibrant and prosperous communities. We believe that charities and nonprofits play an essential role in Canadian society by: engaging Canadians, building knowledge, helping those in need, strengthening public policy, enhancing quality of life, contributing to economic prosperity. We fulfill our mission by: (1) developing and delivering products and services that help charities and nonprofits operate at the highest level of governance and deliver the highest quality programs; and (2) creating and mobilizing data, information, research and knowledge that help charities and nonprofits make wise decisions; (3) developing and advocating for public policies that will assist charities and nonprofits; and (4) working to improve Canadians’ understanding and perceptions of the charitable and nonprofit sector and its contributions to our quality of life.
