Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Toronto Humane Society to promote the humane care and protection of all animals and to prevent cruelty and suffering.
About This Cause
The Toronto Humane Society is a non-profit organization that is 100% supported by donations, and we receive no government funding. Our shelter is located at 11 River Street in Toronto, where we are dedicated to providing a safe haven and compassionate care to mistreated, neglected and abandoned animals. We support our community through a variety of programs such as: adoptions, pet food bank, behavior training programs, low-cost spay/neuter/vaccination clinics, and more. We are always looking for new ways to help more animals and expand on our programs.
