The Ivan Franko Homes are owned and operated by the Ukrainian Home for the Aged, a charitable, not-for-profit institution chartered in the Province of Ontario in 1957. The Ivan Franko Homes provide accommodations and high-quality, individualized care for Ukrainian-speaking seniors in a traditional ethno-cultural environment.
About This Cause
The Ukrainian Home for the Aged currently owns and operates 2 facilities for seniors known as the Ivan Franko Homes: an 85-bed Long-Term Care Home located at 767 Royal York Rd. in Toronto and another, newer and more spacious facility on an 11-acre property located at 3058 Winston Churchill Blvd. in Mississauga, Ontario, consisting of 45 retirement units (bachelor, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments), as well as 20 private rooms (providing Assisted Living), thus accommodating about 75 residents (160 seniors in total).
