Planned Parenthood Ottawa is a pro-choice organization supporting informed sexual and reproductive health choice through education, counselling, information and referral services.
About This Cause
Planned Parenthood Ottawa (PPO) has provided sexual and reproductive health (SRH) support and education for over 50 years, and is the only organization in Ottawa that provides free, non-judgemental counselling for all pregnancy options. Through PPO’s well-developed training & support program, a team of staff and 40+ volunteers deliver SRH services for approximately 8000 people each year via individual counselling and support, information and referral services, and education workshops. Our support and education programs are grounded on the principles of being non-judgemental, anti-oppressive, evidence-informed, sex-positive, pro-choice, and community oriented.
