Mission Statement
Street Haven at the Crossroads offers pathways towards independence for women who are experiencing or are at-risk of homelessness, mental illness and addictions challenges, through a variety of integrated services in which women support women.
About This Cause
Street Haven is an award-winning women's multi-service agency that provides wrap around services for vulnerable women who are homeless and living in deep poverty with mental health and addictions challenges. We serve vulnerable groups of women including members of the BIPOC community, refugees, immigrants, deeply impoverished women, women with mental health challenges, women with addictions challenges, survivors of gender-based violence, and those who have had interactions with the justice system. Our services include: Shelter: 75-bed Emergency Shelter, Deeply affordable and affordable housing: Supportive Housing apartments for 32 women and housing sustainability support program. Outreach services: Addictions outreach case management services Housing stabilization outreach services for clients at-risk of losing housing Mental Health and Crisis Team Addiction: Community outreach support, 90 day 10-bed in-resident treatment program and post treatment services Training: education upgrading, pre-employment programs, computer lab
