Founded in 1988, Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA) delivers 20+ prevention-focussed, culturally-responsive programs and services to urban Indigenous youth in Metro Vancouver.
About This Cause
Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA) is a prevention-focused organization delivering 20+ culturally-responsive programs for urban Indigenous youth in Metro Vancouver, working with more than 300 community partners. We meet the needs of urban Indigenous youth by providing a wide range of services, resources, and opportunities that support Indigenous youth to reach their fullest potential. Our youth-led approach helps Indigenous youth explore their personal goals for education, work, culture, and life, in a fun, safe, and healthy environment. Youth are active at all levels of the organization: as participants, peer leaders, employees, and board members.
