The Canadian Women's Foundation empowers women and girls to move out of violence, out of poverty, and into confidence and leadership.
About This Cause
We invest in the strength of women and the dreams of girls. The Canadian Women’s Foundation is Canada’s public foundation for women and girls. With our donors' support, we have helped more than 250,000 people across Canada, and invested in more than 1,400 community programs that help women and girls move out of violence, out of poverty, and into confidence and leadership. We study and share the best ways to create long-term change for women and girls, we bring together community organizations for training and knowledge sharing, and we carefully select and fund the programs that address the greatest needs and deliver the strongest outcomes. When women and girls live free from violence, poverty, and rigid stereotypes that limit their potential, our neighbourhoods are safer, our economy is stronger, and our pool of future leaders is more diverse.
