About This Cause

CASA Mental Health is a major community-based provider of mental health services for children, youth and their families in Alberta. Multidisciplinary teams treat approximately 4,000 kids each year from age three to 18. True to our roots, CASA focuses on solutions that incorporate the whole family. CASA offers a wide range of assessment and treatment programs, as well as professional training and consultation. Our programs range in intensity from early identification, assessment and primary intervention to intensive tertiary level treatment. Clinical teams include childcare counsellors, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers and occupational therapists. Assessments and subsequent interventions are guided by a bio-psycho-social (biological, psychological, social) framework that considers the family and community as integral to the healthy functioning of the child. With your support, we can provide timely mental health care to kids and their families right here in Alberta. You can help us break down barriers to mental health care as we expand services to more kids in more communities across the province.
