The Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation inspires our community to invest in excellence in child health, research and family centred care.
About This Cause
Your support for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation helps provide kids and families with the best health care possible right in our own backyard. Through the generosity of our community, we fund family-centred child health programs, specialized life-saving equipment, and training for the next generation of medical specialists at the Alberta Children's Hospital. At the same time, our investments in innovative research support the science behind finding gentler therapies and new cures for diseases and disorders that no child should have to endure. Recognizing that mental health is just as important as physical health, the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation is also committed to supporting critical programs and services for children, teens and young adults struggling with their mental health. We are a proud partner in the creation of Calgary’s first Centre for Child and Adolescent Mental Health and a broad suite of programs funded by the Build Them Up campaign. When it opens in northwest Calgary later this year, it will be one of the most robust, research-intensive community based mental health centres in Canada. Ultimately, whether young people in our community turn to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, Rotary Flames House or the new Centre for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, together, we can help every baby, child and teenager live to their fullest potential.
