Mission Statement
Fulton Afterschool organization is a non-profit charitable organization founded by local parents in 1981 who saw a need for afterschool care in the Fulton Place Community. Over the last 35 years it has grown into one of the most respected non-profit afterschool centres in Edmonton. Our afterschool program was one of the first in Edmonton to receive the voluntary accreditation status. Our parents and staff work to realize our mission-to nurture, educate and support children and their families in achieving their potential.
About This Cause
Our afterschool program is non-profit and any profits made are returned into the program. We sustain our community and are sustained in return by support from the community. Many parents donate their time to keep our program viable. We use volunteers to enhance our programs and we have a volunteer Board of Directors. As a charity we are able to conduct a silent auctions that enables our children to have summer fieldtrips and participate in community events and utilize the wonderful parks in Edmonton.
