Mission Statement

The Teresa Group advances the dignity and well-being of children and their families affected by HIV and AIDS. As one of the few organizations in North America providing support specifically focused on children and families affected by HIV and AIDS, we have built a solid reputation over the last 26 years focusing on compassionate care and holistic programming within the GTA and Ontario. To mitigate the impact of poverty we provide practical supports including infant formula, diapers, grocery vouchers, food supplies, transit tokens, clothing, winter hats and mitts, backpacks containing school supplies and emergency financial support. To alleviate the stress faced by our families as they navigate through their complex lives, we offer an array of emotional support including counselling, parent groups, therapeutic groups for children, school tutoring/mentoring and summer camp.
