Mission Statement
The Children's Breakfast Clubs is a registered charitable organization which receives no government funding. We are funded totally by donations from corporations and individuals. We take a holistic approach by providing the children with educational, cultural and recreational opportunities that they may not otherwise have.
About This Cause
The Children's Breakfast Clubs is a non-profit organization dedicated in providing hot culturally reflective meals in our 25 locations across the city, including the North humberland area. Each program is a reflection of the community they are based in, this is demonstrated by community involvement, menu and the time the program is operational every day. Aside from serving breakfast, our children are provided with opportunities that they may not otherwise have. For example, over 250 children are taken to Ottawa to celebrate Black History Month with our Prime Minister, Leaders of opposition party and MP's. Every year, over 150 children are part of our healthy lifestyles program, which encourages children to participate in a Bike Race "Tour De Black Creek". These are a few of the opportunities given to our children. By providing them with these opportunities, it levels the plan field, exposing our children to a world and people outside their communities. The Children's Breakfast club seeks opportunities to increase awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle and raise much needed funds to further the mission....."You Cannot Feed a Hungry Mind on an Empty Stomach"
