Mission Statement
To provide information and support to those suffering with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, to increase public awareness of the disease, and to support research into its causes and treatment.
About This Cause
Our society provides a hub for information and support for ME sufferers and interested parties, with a substantial lending library of publications relating to the disease. We hold monthly support group meetings to present information and discuss various aspects of the disease and methods of coping. We publish a very informative newsletter about five times a year with information on various activities and research relating to ME. We are part of a worldwide network of similar ME societies. We occasionally provide monetary grants to research institutions who are studying ME.
