Our Vision is to Bring Hope to the Hopeless. Streets Alive Mission exists to provide for the physical, emotion, social and spiritual needs of the poor to empower them to change their lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

About This Cause

The following are the services we provide P.I.N. (People In Need) Bank The P.I.N. Bank is the work horse of the Mission. Acting as the closet for the street population it provides, free of charge, the things that people require both for basic survival, as well as setting up a new household. Takin It to the Streets Takin' IT to the Streets is a "Hands on" mobile feeding and harm reduction program that runs six nights a week. Sandwiches, coffee, donuts, and other food are brought into the single room accommodations, as well as to the street population directly. Work Force Work Force is our Social Enterprise and Employment Readiness program that offers on the job employment and life skills training for those individuals making the effort to change their lives. Foot Friday Foot Friday is a harm reduction initiative to deal with "Street Feet", a condition developed due to lots of walking, improper foot wear, and untreated health issues. Over seen by trained medical staff this program increases basic health. A.S.K. Learning Centre The ASK Learning Centre provides a safe learning environment, suited to those participants who are not comfortable or welcome in a mainstream learning environment. The ASK Learning Centre provides each participant with a variety of programs to comprehensively learn the life skills and occupational skills required to help them obtain and maintain employment, return to school, function within community and raise their children. Parkside Home Parkside Home is a 17 bed facility for men to assist them in recovering their lives with dignity. Providing safe, affordable housing with accountability Parkside has a high recovery rate. Epidemyc Youth Epidemyc Youth is a dynamic program that reaches out to young people struggling with the ever increasing pressures of growing up in today's society. Under the leadership of young professionals who are committed to mentoring today's youth into tomorrows leaders the young people receive help in a variety of ways. Segue Women's Program Segue Women's Program operates a weekly outreach into the female unit of the local provincial jail, is the impetus behind the A.S.K. Learning Centre and operates a 4 bed housing facility to help broken women recover their lives Trustee Financial Services A voluntary trustee system is available to those individuals who desire assistance in managing their finances in a effort to improve their overall health and well being. This service insures rents and other bills are paid while providing an agreed allowance that provides better financial stability.
