Mission Statement

The CFF is dedicated to supporting Canadian independent films and cultivating emerging and established filmmaking talent.

About This Cause

Film-loving audiences come to enjoy a diverse selection of 100% Canadian film screenings (feature & shorts), and filmmakers flock to the CFF’s various industry events to take advantage of essential networking opportunities. We have multiple approaches to ensure BPIOC, women and other historically marginalized Canadian filmmakers have access to and use our platform for their voices to be heard. We know that Canada doesn't have one voice, we have many and we'd like to hear from as many as possible.
