Mission Statement
Our mandate is to mobilize, mentor, and motivate Black youth in Canada while encouraging Canadian youth of East African descent to take on leadership positions within their communities.
About This Cause
Our mandate is to mobilize, mentor, and motivate Black youth in Canada. We do this mainly through the following programs and events: Career Mentorship programs for students, Networking Events, Mental Health, Social and Sports Events that cater to Black Youth. ELEVATE CAMP, our career awareness and mentorship program addresses social barriers as a result of race when it come to career choices and career success by delivering the program to high schools with predominantly black students. Project Details Help Us Elevate the Future of Black Youth In the Toronto District School Board, over 20% of Black students do not complete high school—a rate more than double that of their white and other racialized peers. This persistent disparity calls for bold, community-rooted action. Our Elevate Career Awareness & Mentorship Program (ELEVATE CAMP), working in partnership with the Toronto District School Board, is rising to meet this challenge. From September 2025 to June 2027, our goal is to engage 200 Black high school students in a transformative journey of exposure, mentorship, and career planning. We’re inviting forward-thinking donors and partners to help us make this ambitious vision a reality.
