The Kitten Suites Kitten Rescue Society Pictou County mission is saving the lives of kittens, preventing/treating disease and controlling the overpopulation of cats in our community by ensuring spay and neuter.
About This Cause
SPAY & NEUTER REDUCES OVERPOPULATION, REDUCES SPREAD OF DISEASE & REDUCES SUFFERING. The Kitten Suites are a foster based kitten rescue in Pictou County, NS for abandoned kittens, barn kittens, feral kittens and owner surrenders. Our focus is on the most vulnerable kittens under 3 months old however not limited to depending on each individual situation as well as available funds. Once taken into care the kittens are tested for disease, treated for parasites, receive vaccinations, socialized, spayed/neutered at 6 months of age and adopted into approved loving forever homes after 8 weeks of age. Kittens who are adopted before they are 6 months old have their spay or neuter included in their adoption fee.
