About This Cause
Founded in 1982, Epic Fencing Club has grown into Alberta’s premier high-performance fencing training institute, offering programs for individuals aged 6 to 70+. Our athletes have made history, representing Canada at the 2022 and 2024 Olympics brining home the nation's first-ever Olympic fencing medal in Paris. Epic Fencing is proud of its vibrant and supportive community, which nurtures skill development, physical fitness, and sportsmanship through world-class coaching and dynamic programs. From introducing beginners to the joy of fencing to guiding elite athletes to international success, the club embodies a commitment to excellence and inclusivity. We’ve built an accessible facility to further expand the reach of our sport to underserved communities, and work with schools throughout the Calgary area to further bring exposure to the sport.
