To provide access to accommodations for all Canadians, their caregivers and their families required to relocate for medical treatment.
About This Cause
StayWell Suites Charity understands that although medical care may be covered by the government, accommodation costs, especially in Canada’s major cities, can be beyond the reach of patients, forcing them to forgo life-saving treatment. Since 2018, StayWell has been on a mission to reduce this financial burden on patients across Canada. StayWell provides short and long-term fully furnished accommodations for patients of all ages, their families and caregivers, required to relocate near a major Toronto hospital for medical care. Depending on the patient’s needs, our apartment accommodations range in size from 1-3 bedrooms. Thanks to our hotel and apartment partners, we are able to provide patient pricing that is only available through StayWell. If these rates are unaffordable, we will subsidize the cost of accommodations for patients, their families, and caregivers. Booking requests can be made online on our website or via telephone. The StayWell team is available daily 24 hrs a day.
