Mission Statement

Maawi Bmosedaa - Walking In Unity Together. Endaayaan Awejaa strives to walk in unity together with all the youth and families they work with in order to create safe places to heal and grow with each other.

About This Cause

Endaayaan Awejaa is a start-up, grassroots, non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing all youth with safe places to heal and build solid foundations for their future. Our company started during the Covid-19 pandemic with just a few volunteering their time. We all agreed that there is a great need for support in our community and united and became a solid team working in various capacities. Endaayaan Awejaa has been mobile throughout North Bay and surrounding areas. We just recently opened up our office space and drop-in centre for youth programming to take place in person. Our capacity to conduct online workshops continues to exist as well. Our purpose is to connect with people who may need assistance with a hot meal, a ride to an appointment, connection to Indigenous culture, resources or basic hygiene needs. We have care packages and medicine bundles on hand for youth or families in need of support. We offer different workshops on culture teachings, life skills, life promotion which includes mental health, self-esteem and self-confidence. Our vision is to create workshops in order to promote healthy living and engage youth towards a path that caters to their strengths and sets them up for success. The overall goal is a youth home that will include counselling mentorship, workshops and activities currently being provided by Endaayaan.
