Mission Statement
We exist to inspire, motivate and promote recovery with increased function for individuals with spinal cord injuries and associated disorders through a comprehensive activity based training program, education, and exercise knowledge.
About This Cause
ReYu is a non profit organization that is breaking barriers and changing the neuro rehab game in Alberta. We use exercise to instill confidence into our clients. We show them that they can have a fulfilling successful life with a disability, we see the ability not the DISability. We have created a strong community of love and support for those who need it the most. We offer monthly ReYu Community Connect days where we bring in different vendors and specialists to talk about the topics that need to be talked about such as bowel and bladder care, pleasure and intimacy, grief and loss, RDSP and many more. We host many fun and creative events throughout the year to raise funds as well as awareness for our programs such as a 5 Km Walk, Run & Roll, Wheelchair Wash, Poker Tournament, Motorcycle Ride 4 ReYu, and a silent auction dinner. ReYu is a safe judgement free space where we Reconnect the brain to the body, Retrain the nervous system and Redefine what is possible.
