We are a student-founded and student-run not-for-profit organization composed of organizing members from the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, and La Cité. We host a variety of events across all campuses year-round ranging from technical and non-technical workshops, networking events with companies, and community events.

About This Cause

Hack the Hill is a non-profit initiative aimed at nurturing the technological potential of post-secondary students in the Ottawa Valley. Our reach extends across multiple institutions, including the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, and La Cité, bringing together a diverse community of learners, educators, and professionals. Our charity channels its resources and donations towards organizing educational events, workshops, and networking sessions that benefit students directly. These events are meticulously planned and executed by a dedicated team of student volunteers from the aforementioned institutions. Through our endeavors, we aspire not only to equip students with technical skills but also to foster a spirit of collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation. Our ultimate vision is to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application, ensuring that students are well-prepared and confident to embark on their professional journeys in the technology sector.
