About This Cause
We endeavour to help establish life giving communities and resources to ensure a better future for them. Many caring adults want to make a difference in the lives of marginalized youth in our city. It can be gut wrenching to hear stories of so many young people experiencing things they never should have to experience. Trauma such as intense poverty, physical and sexual abuse, abandonment from parents, bullying, and loneliness are just a few things that effect countless youth in our city. ALL YOUNG PEOPLE, NO MATTER THEIR BACKGROUND, DESERVE ADVOCATES SURROUNDING THEM. No one should face adversity alone. We create community based youth drop-in centres and run programming such as low cost/ free sports, mentorship, tutoring, job preparation, and spiritual enrichment. Through this we can ensure our youth receive leadership development skills needed for their family, communities, and their own personal success.
