About This Cause
Purpose Forward is a Canadian not-for-profit corporation that was established in early 2021 to accelerate the growth of grassroots, social purpose organizations. The founders have spent most of the last decade in senior roles in the not-for-profit sector with large community charities and hospitals. While these established organizations play a crucial role in making our communities better, they are not designed to innovate. The problems of our time require modern solutions to work in a system that has historically been designed with lots of processes to mitigate risk. Purpose Forward was founded to help grassroots organizations navigate this complex system and effectively scale to maximize impact. We are a team of experts in finance, HR, IT, operations & project management, and entrepreneurship specializing in the grassroots social purpose sector. Our services include ongoing support services, consulting services, and training & education. Your donations go to subsidizing the cost of services for new non-profits and charities that cannot afford our services but need the support we can provide. Your funds go to helping ensure that many of our best ideas to tackling our problems have the opportunity to become social purpose organizations of their own - creating jobs, serving their communities, and building more resilient societies!
