Mission Statement
RC Forward empowers Canadian donors to give to some of the most effective, high-impact charities in the world working to solve the most pressing problems. High-impact charity is about finding the most cost-effective solutions to the world’s biggest problems. Through careful, evidence-based reasoning, most individuals can have a much bigger impact on the world than they realize. RC Forward aims to be an unbiased organization. All of our supported charities are recommended by independent charity evaluators, such as GiveWell, The Life You Can Save, Founders Pledge, Animal Charity Evaluators, and the Open Philanthropy Project. In some cases, Effective Altruism aligned organizations are also supported by donors through RC Forward.
About This Cause
Rethink Charity is a research and outreach organization whose goal is to identify and promote high-impact and cost-effective interventions in the areas of global health, animal welfare, environmental and catastrophic risk, and education through several projects related to the principles of “effective altruism.”
