About This Cause
Finance Engage Sustain (FES) is a youth-led, youth-serving climate and sustainable development organization. We are equipping young people today with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to become the best leaders for Canada's sustainable future, and ensuring that every Canadian student has the opportunity to learn about climate change and net-zero, at no cost. FES empowers Canadian youth with the resources they need to explore and implement meaningful climate action in pursuit of net-zero and climate justice. We are committed to building climate-resilient communities by providing support to young people who are taking action against the climate crisis. FES offers flexible, long-term support to the youth-led climate movement through financial, technical, and educational assistance. FES' N:OW for Net-Zero program develops curriculum-linked lesson plans and resources on net-zero climate solutions, which are offered to Canadian grades 7-12 classrooms, at no cost. Our goal is to ensure that all classrooms in Canada integrate climate and net-zero education into their curricula. FES provides lesson plans, as well as hands-on classroom project guides, for students to learn about climate action and to build sustainable initiatives that can impact their communities.
