Mission Statement
Our Mission - During the stressful time of a child battling cancer, we bring financial relief to their family, which allows them to focus on their child in crisis.
About This Cause
Helping Families Handle Cancer was founded in 2008. We are a new Not-For-Profit Organization. We provide financial support to cancer families as quickly and efficiently as possible so they can focus on what is most important: the comfort, health and recovery of their child. These families have had to make the decision to sacrifice income for more time with their family and sick child. We work directly with Oncology Social Workers at the Alberta Children's Hospital.
