About This Cause

Sloane’s House will be a community based charitable respite care centre providing practical, physical and emotional support to enrich the lives of children with persistent high health needs as well as their families and caregivers. These services will provide temporary relief to the family/caregivers of children and youth with special needs while also providing engagement and participation in meaningful activities with adults and peers outside the family. These services can be used for as little as a few hours to as long as three weeks for children between the ages of 0 and 18. Our goal is to open our doors by 2021.
