To give the gift of a final goodbye by providing flights for loved ones to be together during times of palliative or critical illness.
About This Cause
In operation since 2013, Give A Mile is a registered non-profit operating in Canada and the United States and connecting loved ones worldwide. We believe in the power of final visits to transform end-of-life experiences and inspire growth in those who visit. Our primary source of funding is donated airline miles and loyalty points but we also need money to cover the taxes and fees on flights, and our minimal operating expenses. To date, we have granted over 1100 flights of compassion and have allowed thousands of family and friends to create moments and make memories that live on.
