Mission Statement

The Africville Heritage Trust (AHT) is responsible for preserving the artifacts and story of the African Nova Scotian community of Africville through the replica church Museum. The Africville Museum has become a symbol of the ongoing struggle by African Canadians to defend their culture and rights.

About This Cause

The Africville Heritage Trust is a non-profit organization. Although designated as a National Historic Site, it does not receive Federal or Provincial funding.
