Mission Statement
The DWCC is a network of neighbours and friends who are committed to sharing in the ongoing renewal of Downtown Windsor. Renewal happens when our neighbourhoods are good places to grow up and grow old. So we focus on initiatives that bring people out of isolation and connect them into loving communities. At the centre of the DWCC is a covenant community that sustains us for the long haul.
About This Cause
We are nurturing and building community through a) fostering Community Relationships like Neighbourhood Engagement, and collaborating with other agencies. b) advocating for change Like Gardens, Breakfast Club, Resident Leadership Teams, Furniture Bank, youth leadership, and the RE/ACT recovery c) fostering soulful practices that shape and restore us for the long haul like sabbath rest, prayer, hospitality, and listening.
