Mission Statement
The objects for which the corporation is incorporated are: (a) To advance religion by teaching the religious tenets, doctrines, and observances associated with the Hindu faith; (b) To advance religion by establishing and maintaining a house of worship with services conducted (or held) in accordance with the tenets and doctrines of the Hindu faith; (c) To advance religion by establishing a facility to be used for religious programs. workshops, music, and studies related to Hinduism; and (d) To do all such things as are incidental or ancillary to the attainment of the above purpose.
About This Cause
a) Building the house of worship b) Conducting daily or weekly services c) Performing various rites such as naming ceremonies, weddings, funerals in accordance with laws such as Marriage Act, R.S.O. 1990 and other acts and or guidance administered by Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee and adopting the customs and rituals as prescribed by the Hindu Vedic scriptures, religious tenets, doctrines and observances. d) Authorize, appoint or invite priests and other Hindu religious persons for conduct of ceremonies in accordance with religious tenets, doctrines and observances e) Offering scripture study and religious education for children and adults f) Providing pastoral care and visitation to those who are elderly, infirm, imprisoned or sick g) Reaching out to those who are in need in the neighbourhood h) Providing spiritual direction and guidance i) Providing language training to enable the reading of sacred texts Being a CRA registered Canadian Charity, all donations to the Charity are eligible for a Tax receipt as per Canadian Tax Laws. Currently the Charity has acquired a land in Muskoka and intend to build a temple which can provide religious services as per Hindu doctrines for Mukthi for self and our fore-fathers (Pithrus)
