Mission Statement

The Robb Nash Project is a registered Canadian charity that engages young people through the power of music and storytelling to inspire hope and encourage positive life choices.

About This Cause

The Robb Nash Project supports the mental health of young people through the power of music and real life stories. Robb Nash is a rock musician who performs songs that resonate with youth audiences. He talks about his own struggles with mental illness and is not afraid to speak out about tough topics like addiction, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and trauma. He shares stories of struggle and resilience while reminding young people of their unique and intrinsic gifts. Robb sets the stage, creating a safe space for young people to seek help from a trusted source for their own mental health challenges. To date, The Robb Nash Project has: • reached over 500,000 students in person across Canada and created breakthrough moments • been handed over 900 suicide notes from young people who’ve made a choice to ask for help and begin a new life journey The Robb Nash Project has taken this unique platform of music and storytelling and created an online student-focused mental wellness program using real life stories to support social and emotional learning. A Living Curriculum “Stories of Life through Darkness” is free for schools across Canada in English and French. Students are given the opportunity to share their own stories and also gain access to needed support through partner portals and resources. The curriculum aids educators and support staff to create cultural engagement and meaningful discussions around mental wellness. Please support The Robb Nash Project to ensure this program remains free and available for schools requesting it. By doing so, you will be supporting young people who may be struggling silently.
