Mission Statement

-To encourage and promote Canadian colour research and sharing of colour knowledge from diverse areas of practice and scholarly inquiry. -To develop and support a national, cross-disciplinary network of scholars and practitioners with an interest in practical and/or theoretical engagement with colour.

About This Cause

The CRSC is a non-profit organisation for colour research, focused on fostering a cross-disciplinary sharing of colour knowledge. We seek to develop and support a national, cross-disciplinary network of artists and designers, scholars and practitioners, with an interest in engagements with colour, and to encourage discourse between arts, sciences and industry related to colour research and knowledge. The Colour Research Society of Canada (CRSC) is the Canadian member organisation of the AIC (International Colour Association). Objectives and Goals: -To encourage discourse between arts, sciences and industry related to colour research and knowledge. -To foster public interest in colour research and knowledge. - To be an active member of the International Colour Association (AIC), in order to enable and encourage Canadian colour researchers’ participation in international colour research, events and publications. The CRSC goals include creating meetings, events, conferences, symposia, workshops and gatherings to bring Canada's colour knowledge makers and users together.
