About This Cause
Shoe Bank Canada collects shoes from footwear manufacturers and the homes of Canadians and distributes them to people in need through the help of social agencies across the country. We collect footwear from across Canada, deliver to our Warehouse in either Kelowna, BC or Ottawa, Ontario, sort and size all footwear, then distribute to people in need through agencies, requests, or walk-ins. Our shoe "store" is at the Kelowna warehouse where people can come and receive (free of charge) footwear for their families. We accommodate many situations throughout the community: the working poor, the homeless, people in need of work boots for job positions, people in need of footwear to apply for a job, children's in need of boots in the winter, essentially all situations that require footwear for any reason.
