Mission Statement
POV ’s mission is to train and support young people between the ages of 18-30 from traditionally underrepresented communities in developing their technical skills and creative talents with the intended outcome of kick-starting their careers in the TV, film and commercial production industries.
About This Cause
POV believes that working in the screen-based industries should not be a privilege afforded only to those with the means, resources, and networks to break in. Since being founded in 2007, POV has been levelling the playing field for equity-seeking youth through training, mentorship, networking, and opening doors that lead to economic and professional success in the creative industries.
