We are a trusted, award-winning local charity providing the largest presence of environment-related programming services and impact in the City of Burlington. Working with volunteers and community partners, BurlingtonGreen has: ... cleaned up litter with 17,000+ volunteers city-wide ... planted over 70,000 native trees and plants ... empowered 14,000 children and youth, and their teachers ... grown and donated more than 7800 pounds of organic produce to local food banks ... diverted a whopping 72 tonnes of waste from landfill ... spoken up for environmental justice on more than 120+ issues affecting Burlington ... restored natural habitats ... greened Burlington’s biggest festivals and events ... advised local businesses on sustainability solutions ... reached 40,000+ Burlingtonians with resources & tools to work, play and live more softly on Earth ... and much more We provide eco-focused education, engaging events, programs and services to ALL sectors of Burlington during every month of the year.
