About This Cause
Founded in Newmarket Ontario in 2007 as Newmarket Community Music & Arts Inc. In 2012 the organization relocated activities to the Regent Park Centre for Social Innovation and registered “NewArts Inc.” as it’s style name and expanded its mandate to broaden the horizons of diverse children and youth through the creation of innovative arts, and educational programs presented in schools and community centres. While operations are centred in Toronto the programs reach out to the surrounding GTA and culminate in the annual Climate Arts Awards.
