Mission Statement

to establish and operate a community centre to be used to educate and increase the public’s understanding of the history, philosophy, sociology, culture, arts and heritage of the Chinese-Canadian community (“Chinese-Canadian Heritage”)

About This Cause

a. To relieve conditions associated with the aged by providing seniors with health, social, recreational and living support programs, including workshops and seminars on health, computers, arts, management of financials, and other topics of interests; exercise, social, and community involvement activities; translation and counselling services; and assistance in accessing government services. b. To provide educational, counselling and other support services for immigrants and other persons in need, including language instruction, employment training, job search activities, translation services and information programs on Canadian cultural and life, and community involvement activities. c. To advance the public’s appreciation of the arts of Chinese-Canadian heritage by producing public art exhibitions, presentations, and performances arts events. d. To undertake activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above charitable purposes.
