Ally works to prevent human trafficking and help survivors find healing through safe housing, education and aftercare.
About This Cause
Around the world, women and children are being exploited and abused by human traffickers. When victims are rescued, they need a safe place to heal. Without these safe spaces, survivors struggle to heal from trauma, and they are vulnerable to re-exploitation and abuse. At Ally, we work to prevent human trafficking and help survivors find healing through safe housing, education and aftercare. When survivors are supported through long-term care, they can build healthy, independent futures. Here’s a bit more about what we do: Safe Homes: Our safe homes provide a supportive environment for women and children to heal from trauma, receive counselling and build healthy relationships with others. Reintegration Programs: We encourage young adults to pursue their dreams through post-secondary scholarships, job training and transitional housing support. Trafficking Prevention: Our prevention programs protect women and children in vulnerable communities through education and anti-trafficking presentations. You can help prevent human trafficking and provide healing for survivors.
