Mission Statement
CLICK envisions a Vancouver where a child’s life is not determined by their postal code or household income. Every child in our city should have a safe place to go after school, access to healthy meals and the opportunity to pursue their dreams and goals and succeed in life.
About This Cause
CLICK is a totally volunteer organization that fundraises from the community to provide grants to grassroots community programs that make a critical, daily difference to Vancouver's inner city kids. These include programs that provide: - basic needs such as breakfast and nutritious snacks – because no child can learn if they’re hungry - safe and enriching out-of-school care, - help develop important skills such as literacy and leadership, - opportunities to participate in recreational, artistic and cultural programming – all of which are out of reach for children living in poverty. CLICK exists to find funds from the community to channel to grassroots programs that are doing their best to support kids in need. Our totally volunteer organization has been successful over the years and has been able to direct over $1,500,000 to more than 600 programs supporting thousands of kids in Vancouver. CLICK is an organization that understands that supporting kids in their early years will lead to a stronger community for all of Vancouver. We are excited to be able to support and highlight the many grassroots programs that do this important work.
