Mission Statement
Our purpose is to give financial aid to homes in Kanyakumari, south India for orphaned children and children who come from families who are too impoverished to feed, give basic welfare and means to supply an education.
About This Cause
We run a sponsorship program that provides financial help in the care, nourishment and education of individual children, who are being looked after by the Sri Kanyakumari Gurukula Ashram. In addition we send one time donations from donors to assist with the care of the children in general. All the children live in cottages built on campuses in the rural areas around Kanyakumari, and we also do some fundraising for special projects that need to be carried out at the cottages for the health and improvement in living conditions for the children there. We also solicit special donations from educational benefactors here to supply educational tools and services for the school that the Ashram is running for poor children in the neighbouring community.
