About This Cause
New Beginnings Support Program is a charitable agency that helps restructure the lives of marginalized and underserved women. Since 2004, New Beginnings Support Program has assisted in helping women and their children improve their quality of life by offering a holistic approach to independence. We support and address various aspect of a woman’s life to help her reach her full potential. We offer a variety of programs that address leadership, life-skills, and self-esteem development in addition to social, physical, and emotional well-being; we also offer financial literacy and financial stability programs and last but not least the opportunity for higher education and professional skills development. All free of charge. The women are either being supported by Ontario Works, Ontario Disability, unemployed, Newcomers or women who are living in shelters. With their newfound confidence and practical knowledge and skills, women are able to walk away from poverty and despair, making a better life for themselves and their children.
