To help newcomers of all cultural backgrounds successfully participate in Canadian Society and Economy.
About This Cause
MHHS is a non -profit organization which started in 1996, and has been providing settlement and integration services to thousands of newcomers, permanent residents, International Students, Refugees, Temporary Foreign Workers, and Citizens in addressing their needs from settlement, employment, social services, skills enhancements, housing, legal assistance and others. We are funded and supported by three levels of government- Federal, Provincial and Municipal level. Our funders for our settlement programs and services include IRCC, BCSIS, BC Gaming and New Horizons. MHHS is also funded on the municipal level through various City Grants.
