To rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home dogs in need
About This Cause
In order to achieve our goal of rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing dogs in need, hart relies on the compassion of our volunteer network as well as donations from individuals and organizations, concerned about the plight of stray and abandoned dogs. With your generous support, hart was able to bring 73 dogs in from the cold in 2019 to a life filled with warmth, security and love. That brings the total number of dogs given a new leash on life by hart to 1742 since our inception in 2003! hart volunteers often comment that they are able to literally watch the weight of survival be lifted off of the shoulders of rescued dogs as they recover and learn to trust. We know that together, we will be able to offer that chance to many more deserving dogs.
