About This Cause

Established in 1997 - the North Shore Mountain Bike Association is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization dedicated to caring for a sustainable trail network within the community. Our 40+ volunteer trail builders maintain over 70kms of trails across the North Shore and help to host over 100 public trail days annually. Our organization contributes over 12,000 volunteer hours through maintenance and advocacy work and engages over 1,500 individuals through our trail days, including over 500 youth. We boast 19 of the top 100 trails in the world (according to TrailForks), including the #1 ranked trail Bobsled and #2 Expresso. As one of the world's busiest and world-renowned trail networks, our organization maintains the trails to the highest standards to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all who enjoy our network.
