About This Cause
Compassion House Foundation operates Sorrentino's Compassion House, a haven for women traveling to Edmonton for cancer treatment. We provide safe, comfortable, and affordable accommodations, deliver much needed support programs and services, and offer financial aid when necessary. Comfortable: Sorrentino's Compassion House offers 16 beautiful, private guest suites and shared facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, exercise room, library, resource room, craft room, and Wi-Fi throughout. Convenient: Located only 2 km from the Cross Cancer Institute with a shuttle van to drive guests to and from appointments. Affordable: The financial impact of traveling for cancer care is daunting. The cost to stay at Sorrentino's Compassion House is just $35/night, with aid available. Supportive: The cancer journey can be lonely and difficult. Here, guests have a community of women on the same path who understand what they're going through. Our goal is to help return women to their lives, their families, and their communities healthy, strong, and with as little financial burden as possible. Together, we can ease the distress of the cancer journey for women.
